Plasma Soft Surgery
The plasma rejuvenation or soft surgery treatment is the next generation technology for skin tightening and collagen production. The Plasma medical device uses new technology, based on electrical discharge. Plasma discharge is generated by safe high voltage-between the tip of the device and the treated area. Due to its very thin discharge, it is possible to treat the area around the eye (Blepharoplasty), and other sensitive areas with minimal possible complications and maximum results
Plasma is the fourth state of matter after solids, fluids and gas. It is able to produce a significant amount of collagen contraction and production in the skin in areas we were previously not able to treat as effectively, non-surgically. This treatment can only be performed by specially trained medical doctors.
The Plasma Medial Device can be used on any part of the skin for various indications such as removal of warts to correction of scars for example, however the main feature of this new treatment is that it can be used for Blepharoplasty or plasma eyelid rejuvenation around the eyes particularly for saggy upper and/or lower eyelids. The treatments are performed with topical / local anesthetic and are tolerated well with almost no discomfort.
What you can expect immediately after treatment: Swelling does occur for 2-5 days post treatment. Occasionally this swelling can be significant enough to warrant social down time. Most patients resume their normal activities within 3 days. There is minimal discomfort afterwards, but it truly isn't significant. Skin contraction takes 2-6 weeks post treatment. It is important to protect the treated area from sun. You will receive detailed instructions on how to manage the treated area during your consultation. Skin tightening and texture improvements are the biggest benefits. One to three sessions are usually needed. Most clients will respond effectively after one session, but in severe cases more treatments might be needed. You can expect to look younger and fresher and over time, your skin will respond by naturally building more collagen and increasing elastin. The Plasma eyelid rejuvenation treatment gives best result if done on skin types 1-3.
